When I'm on a call, the reminders appear but I can't edit them.

The iPhone operating system does not allow apps to add features to the call screen. So Call About puts the reminders on the call images of your contacts, as part of the image. You can edit the reminders only in the Call About app itself.

How do I restore my original contact photos?

To restore all photos for all contacts, tap the on/off button:

If you restore the original photos, you will not see the reminders on the call screen. You can re-enable showing the reminders at any time by tapping the on/off button back on.
